Welcome to the new look Fleur and Arbor!

Finishing the film roll...

Finishing the film roll...

I always end up with a handful of shots on my film that i need to use up, eager to head to get the roll developed, I do it rapidly, wandering and shooting and not really thinking about what or why I am taking the pictures.

But when I look back at the photographs, there is often something very appealing in the last of the roll; something I found beautiful.

There is a stillness to the images, they feel quiet and contemplative. I am drawn to shadows, to looking out of windows and nature.

Each represents a moment I have paused and given something value, deemed it worthy to photograph and keep, even if only for a second.
