Visual Diary: Margate
I had the bad luck of coming down with a cold for my birthday, but determined not to stay at home and feel sorry for myself, my boyfriend and I headed down to Margate for the day.
It's a special place for us and we plan a visit every year and enjoy the sea air, vintage shopping and seeing exhibitions at the Turner Contemporary. It's in no way glamorous, but people are friendly, and their are plenty of local attractions to fill your time with.
I had recently bought a new DSLR, so this day trip was the perfect opportunity to give it a whirl.
