December is finally here which means Christmas is just around the corner! It's officially acceptable to start playing your favourite Christmas songs, wearing obnoxious jumpers and stockpiling your favourite treats to gorge yourself on later. In preparation for the big day itself, we thought we would share with you some of our Christmas favourites. We hope you enjoy them!
Jasmine: " For me, it's not Christmas without watching A Muppets Christmas Carol, I'm not ashamed to say I pretty much know all the words."
Olivia: "It's an oldie but a gooden. We have a family tradition of watching The Snowman on Christmas Eve."
Jasmine: " I love oldies, I like to put the Elvis Christmas Album on whilst decorating the tree, or I love love love Nat King Cole's version of O Holy Night."
Olivia: " Both my choices are things I listen to year in year out without fail - I'm a Little Christmas Cracker by Diana Decker or I know it's super cheesy but All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey."
Jasmine: " I seem to forget how much I love Twiglets at any other time of the year. I live for a cheese board at Christmas, and in my house, we tend to have a selection of at least ten different cheeses."
Olivia: "We do a lot of baking in our house around Christmas so homemade mince pies, cakes and cookies are a must! I am also quite partial to a helping of pigs in blankets as it's something I only have at this festive time of year.
Jasmine: " We usually play a game of Monopoly, but this year I'm quite nostalgic for Jenga."
Olivia; "A game or two of Scrabble or more likely is a round of Articulate, which can get quite competitive!"
Jasmine: " I have a 1950's cocktail cabinet so I like to stock it up and make fancy drinks for my family, anything with martini in it is a winner but ever since I read that the Queens favourite drink is Debonnet I've been a little obsessed. "
Olivia: "I'm not a big drinker. But my drink of choice would be Champagne or Prosecco to toast Christmas day and maybe a cheeky G&T."
