Photo Diary - BoomTown Fair
I had the pleasure of partaking in the festivities that are BoomTown Fair this year. I made sure to pack my trusty olympus point and shoot and a roll or two of film.
The festival takes place in Winchester. Hidden away from the main city centre under cover of trees. It's home to trance, punk, ska, reggae and drum and bass music (and so much more!) There are different districts that include the wild west, complete with saloons and cowboys. Mayfair with it's jazz bands and speak easies and lions den for reggae.
My favourite thing about this festival is the freedom everyone feels, anything goes. This year was mental, so many crazy things happened, yet looking back on my images, I seemed the capture the quieter moments sitting around and observing people. The camera perhaps acting as my means of relaxing before everything got too crazy again.
